As the nation is currently on lockdown to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus disease, healthcare workers, police officials, sanitation workers and other essential service providers are fighting the battle against the contagious virus from the frontline. Many essential service workers are staying away from their families to keep them safe.
While praising the commitment of the cops on lockdown duty, Verma wrote, "Isn’t comfortable bed and an eight hour sleep such a luxury ? Yes it is... if you are a cop ! Proud of these #CoronaWarriors."

Proud of these #CoronaWarriors
The photo has received more than 50,000 likes and nearly 9,000 retweets. While many saluted the police personnel across the country for the dedication towards work, others emphasised on the need for better resources for the police.
One user said, "We can never pay back to these #CoronaWarriors. No Words!" Another user suggested, "How about providing mobile bunkers? I am sure that would be really and truly helpful."
Someone commented, "God bless our corona warriors. Grateful for their selfless and much needed services." A tweet read, "Salute is the only & the best way to honour man/woman in uniform. Hats off."
Millions of Indians came out in their balconies on March 22 to thank essential service providers. Several similar videos of people applauding the efforts of the frontline workers in the battle against COVID-19 have gone viral in the past one month.
