Kanika Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19 for the fifth time; doctor says that there is no cause to worry




Kanika Kapoor has tested positive for COVID-19 for the fifth-time consecutively. The 'Baby Doll' singer is presently admitted to the 

SG Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS)





This was the fifth sample test which was carried out on the singer. All the corona patients are being tested for every 48 hours. In a statement the director of the institute, Prof. R. K. Dhiman said that the singer's condition was stable and there was no cause for worry. He also said that she is taking food normally and the report which is doing the rounds in media that she is very sick is false.




Meanwhile, Kanika was hospitalised on March 20 after she tested positive for virus

. She had returned from London on March 9 and then travelled to Kanpur and Lucknow and during her stay, she developed cough and fever. The star recently took to her Instagram handle to share an update about her health. "Going off to bed. Sending you all loving vibes. Stay safe you guys ❤Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine.I hope my next test is negative. Waiting to go home to my kids and family 🤗❤ miss them!", she wrote.
